We talk about everything over here. Glass, life, food, death, su***de, whatever. Because that’s my life.
The fentanyl epidemic has hit home for us. For the last 3 years my oldest son has been caught in a cycle of addiction. Today he’s been delivered to a 6mos intensive rehab program in an effort to rebuild his life. He’s asked me to share this story with the hopes that his friends and family will be there in spirit with positive thoughts and energy. He was dealt a very difficult hand in life, but he’s always played his own cards, now is the time for him to be dealt a new hand.
I thank you all for your patience over the last few years. The “wats wrong with Jones” “is he ok” “Rashan has NOT been himself” vibe is strong. Sometimes when you’re healing someone through the addiction cycle you lose parts of yourself. He will spend his time relearning himself and while the rest of us unlearn the pain and bad energy.
Because it matters, I’m trading my privacy for the belief that positive thoughts really make a difference.
After being released from custody this morning, he’s checking in to an undisclosed location.
I ask that you hold your family close, and when you have time, please send my family a bit of your power. Amen.
You’ll never really know how deep the love is because we all don’t sit together.
