Tyler was given the opportunity to open up The Surf Bar in the back of a boutique his senior year of high school. Having been to Hawaii, California, and Florida, he had tried açaí bowls from these places and always enjoyed eating them. When the opportunity came, there was no doubt. Since the opening in 2018, with the help of his wife, AJ, family, community members, and Team members, The Surf Bar has evolved into what it is. We wouldn't be here without your support.

Started by Yara and Matt Amberg who were both high end New York chefs who decided to open a restaurant where Matt was from (Yara being from Israel).
Their bio from the website reads:
“The cuisine has a foundation in French and European technique with an emphasis upon using locally sourced, high quality, fresh products.
Oren is a fruit and vegetable forward restaurant meaning much of the menu development begins with the local produce and there will be an emphasis on technique to bring out the best of the produce as opposed to luxury products. While Oren is not a vegetarian restaurant, those with dietary restrictions will find themselves well accommodated.”
