CABQ Community Safety Department - ACS Albuquerque Community Safety’s School-Based Violence Intervention Program (SBVIP) host a ceremony for twelve program-enrolled students who recently graduated from Albuquerque-area high schools. The department along with family and friends will be celebrating their achievements and resilience.

SBVIP places trained intervention specialists in schools to support students impacted by violence, helping them stay on track academically and personally. The program is currently in four Albuquerque high schools

City officials and community members will ring in the start of Pride Month in Albuquerque by raising the Pride flag over Civic Plaza. There will be a performance by the New Mexico Gay Men's Chorus and Dee Dee Van Carter will M.C. the event.
