As Pride Month ends, the work continues.

Pride is not just a celebration; it’s a continued commitment to protecting dignity, safety, and the freedom to be yourself.

The Alliance for Rights and Recovery stands with LGBTQIA+ communities today and every day as we continue advocating for equity, inclusion, belonging, and recovery-oriented systems that welcome all.

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️Pride doesn't end on June 30. Neither does our commitment.

Yesterday marked the conclusion of the Alliance for Rights and Recovery's Leadership Institute, and what an incredible journey it has been.
Over the past six months, over 100 participants from New York and around the country have invested their time, energy, and passion into developing their leadership skills and strengthening their ability to create positive change within their organizations and communities. Watching this growth and commitment has been truly inspiring.

A heartfelt thank you to our outstanding subject matter experts: Boris Vilgorin, Glenn Courounis, Alex Pelaez, Ph.D., Shannon Higbee, Jeremy Wright, and Ashley E. Stewart, PhD, LSW, MSSW, who generously shared their knowledge and expertise through our webinar series. Your presentations enriched the learning experience and provided valuable insights that will continue to influence leaders long after the program ends.

We also want to recognize the many participants who took advantage of the individual coaching opportunities offered through the Institute. Your willingness to reflect, challenge yourselves, and engage deeply in your leadership development exemplifies the spirit of continuous growth and learning.

Most importantly, thank you to every participant who dedicated themselves to this experience. Your commitment to advancing recovery-oriented, person-centered, and rights-based services strengthens our movement and the communities we serve.
While the Leadership Institute has officially come to a close, the relationships, knowledge, and leadership capacity built through this experience will continue to make an impact for years to come.

Congratulations to all who completed the program, we look forward to seeing where your leadership journey takes you next! We look forward to another successful year of the Leadership Institute in 2027. Stay tuned for registration to open for LI 2027 in the Fall.
