What a year for Section VIII girls. First wrestling and now Flag Football. Tho tonight did not end the way the Warriors hoped it was a win in so many other ways. These young ladies are the first. The first to wear a Warriors flag football belt, the first to play the game and the first team in Wantagh Athletics history to make it to the post season. Everyone is so unbelievably proud of you, all of you. Every girl that stepped foot onto a flag football field this year helped to pave the way for young girls across Long Island. To all the coaches who worked with these young ladies, you are awesome. Congratulations to you played an awesome game. Good luck!
