My heart and my passion in this stage of my life is make this world a better place. Through ALERT Partnership, Inc., I am blessed to offer an opportunity for this in the community and within police and law enforcement circles.

Recently, I was honored to be the recipient of two prestigious awards. One by the MC Lawton Civic and Cultural Club Inc. and the other by the New York State Police, Troop G.

I will hold both the Community Engagement Award from MC Lawton and the 2025 Partnership Award by the State Police dear to my heart as it reflects the fact that we are making inroads in both areas.

I regret not being able to make the ceremony Saturday, but appreciate Lillian Garland and Arica Grimes for presenting me with the award. I also appreciate Albany Mayor Dr. Dorcey Applyrs for her Mayoral Citation on behalf of the People of Albany.

My thanks to Major Robert McConnell, Troop Commander of NY State Police Troop G for the nomination and for electing me as the Inaugural Recipient of their Partnership award.

Congratulations to our other MC Lawton Civic and Cultural Club award recipients as well as each of the State Police recipients.

Thanks to my wife Brenda Pope Traynham who always supports me and our good friends Michael A. Alexander "Beast" and Bobbie Alexander who surprised and encouraged me with their presence.

Together we are making a difference... one person at a time.
