And that's a wrap! Hope everyone had a great first week of school. Reminder, next week's bell schedule for grades for 1-5 is M/T/TH/F 2:50 and W 12:10. Kindergarten is 12:10 all next week.

AUSD Minimum Days and holidays have been added to the Edison PTA calendar. Please check Konstella or the edisonpta.org/calendar for details.

The first Minimum Days are:
K: 12:10PM release Aug 14-Sept 1 (3 wks)
1st-5th: 12:30PM release Aug 14-18 (1 wk)

To sync the Konstella calendar to your personal calendar: On the Desktop site, click Edison Elementary --> Calendar --> "Sync to My Calendar" and follow the directions.

FREE KINDERGARTEN SWIM!

STARTS APRIL 24th
EVERY SCHOOL DAY
2:00-3:00p.m.

Alameda Swimming Pool Association (ASPA) will be offering free swim lessons to every kindergarten student in Alameda. Free lessons are offered at Franklin Pool (1507 Paru Street).
Just come...don’t call. We can answer questions at the pool. Come as many days per week as you can. Session will end before Memorial Day.

Adult volunteers are required to make the program successful….bring your suit, plan to help in the water.

COVID-19 important news....we observe the same rules as the school district. Do not come if you are feeling ill or exhibiting Covid symptoms or have tested positive for Covid. We will discuss further Covid safety measures at the pool.

Older siblings are not allowed in the pool during KinderSwim. They can play in the pool grassy area or at the playgrounds at the parks. In special circumstances, they can assist in the pool with prior approval.
