There's a saying in the non-profit world: People come for the cause, but stay for the community. Boy is that true for our volunteers. With more than 800 volunteers each year, 200 of whom are regulars, we often see them hanging out together around town. For instance here at Park Station. Thank you for all you do for this community!

Alameda Backyard Growers have been gleaning fruit trees in Alameda and providing us with that fresh produce for years. REAP Climate Center has been using the produce we can't give out to create nutrient dense compost for growing more produce since they opened.
