Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.

Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair, if authorized by the Customer.

Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles for our dealership only. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them with the aim to deliver maximum reliability and functionality.

Responsibilities:

-Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
-Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
-Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
-Independently diagnose vehicles,
-Have personal tool set capable of repairing any task at hand.
-Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
-Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
-Keep logs on work and issues
-Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
-Follow checklists to ensure thorough examination of all parts and systems

Skills and Qualifications:

Experienced: Automotive Mechanics: 5 years (Required)

-High school diploma or equivalent preferred
-Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive service technology a plus
-ASE certification a plus
-Basic computer skills required
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Strong communication skills
-Proven experience as auto mechanic
-Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
-Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
