Community Respite Program at Camp Christopher

Caring for a loved one can be both rewarding and exhausting. The Community Respite Program through Catholic Charities provides temporary care for individuals with disabilities and older adults, giving caregivers a much-needed break while their loved one enjoys a safe, supportive environment.

During Respite, participants engage in meaningful activities such as games, crafts, outdoor time, and social connection, all supported by trained, compassionate staff. The program offers one respite weekend opportunity each month throughout the year, as well as a week-long summer option for those who would like to try an extended experience.

Respite benefits both caregivers and participants through rest, social interaction, and peace of mind.

Caregiver Support Group is open to the public!

If you are caring for an aging or disabled loved one, and looking for support, education or resources, please join us next Wednesday, April 8th at 10am. This month’s guest speaker is from Western Reserve Hospice and will be discussing dysfunctional families and family relationships.
