“For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed” ( Isaiah 50:7)

Jesus, with full faith in the joy set before him, endured the sufferings of the cross. He knew he would be resurrected. He knew that believers would be saved and in heaven with him forever. He was determined to complete his mission. We must have that kind of determination to be ready for his coming and to complete our mission to hold forth the word of life, the gospel of grace, to all people. Trials and sufferings must not stop us. There is a great reward set before us too. To be with Jesus in his everlasting kingdom! Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord!!! I know that he will help us, and we will not be ashamed! Jesus took our shame. We stand in his righteousness. Amen.
