Pizzeria Community Update 🍕 (PLEASE SHARE)

Hello Friends and Neighbors,

As we watch the season change, it's time to share some news and express our gratitude for your ongoing support.

A Shift in our Restoration Team:
We've transitioned to working with a new team for our restoration. The previous company faced some internal challenges, which unfortunately impacted our timeline. It's important to clarify that this was a situation out of anyone's control, and we part ways with respect and understanding. Our new team is exceptionally qualified, bringing a wealth of talent and resources to the table. We're excited about this fresh collaboration and the progress it's already bringing.

New Beginnings Post-Fire:
The building next door, the unfortunate source of the fire that affected us, is now gone. It's a stark reminder of how quickly things can change, but also a symbol of new beginnings and resilience, both for us and the community.

A Tip of the Hat to the City of Akron:
The City of Akron deserves a huge thank you for their swift and safe action in handling the site next door. They've not only cleared the space but also added a touch of green, enhancing the look and feel of our neighborhood.

The Final Leg of the Journey:
With these changes around us, our pizzeria's restoration is on the final stretch. We're eagerly working towards the day we can reopen our doors to all of you.

Our Commitment to Transparency:
We understand there might have been some uncertainties with the slower flow of updates. Our aim was to share news when we had substantial and positive developments. Your patience and understanding during this period have been heartwarming.

The countdown to welcoming you back to your favorite pizza place is on. We're grateful for your support, which has been our strength throughout this journey.

First and foremost, thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate the aftermath of the incident next door in June. Your concerns and inquiries have not gone unnoticed, and we deeply appreciate each message of support. If we missed you in DM’s, please don’t hesitate to reach back out — there were several hundred messages and we think we got back to all of you! 🙂

Here's the current situation: The neighboring building, affecting us by the fire, is set to be demolished in the upcoming two weeks. The city is working with First Energy and Ohio Edison to address the utilities before the demolition begins. Once that phase is completed, we'll be in a better position to assess our own establishment's condition and outline a clear plan for reopening. The pizzeria is 90% and pretty much ready to go, we’re evaluating the building at this point.

In the interim, we've remained committed to our responsibilities within the community. Even during this downtime, we've somehow managed to help pay some bills for employees, including grocery shopping— keep an open line of communication and uphold all of our sponsorships, with contributions of totaling over $10,000. Furthermore, our dedicated team has been ensuring the fulfillment of all school orders and delivering from our Aurora location. It's been our priority to maintain the essence of our commitment to you.
