Traffic Hazard/Road Closure- 6/15/26 @ 2:45 p.m.
Wires down in the 4200 block of Shaw Rd. have caused a roadway closure between Ghent Ridge and Hametown Rd. Motorists are asked to avoid the area as utility crews attend to the damaged wires.

Reminding everyone to lock your vehicles. Most crimes occur when vehicles are left unattended and unsecured.

Over the past two nights, the Police Department has responded to multiple reports of subjects going through UNLOCKED motor vehicles in and around Montrose West Avenue, and one vehicle was stolen after the keys were left inside.

The activity is occurring between the late evening hours through the early morning. The majority of the time these thefts offenses are crimes of opportunity and can be prevented. Please remember to lock your vehicle and do not leave valuables inside.

Please call the Police immediately if you observed any suspicious person(s) and do NOT approach them.
