Juneteenth marks the day the last enslaved Americans learned they were free — June 19th, 1865. A day that took years to arrive, carried on the backs of those who never stopped holding on.
Today we honor their endurance. We celebrate the freedom they made possible. And we recommit to a world where every soul can live in the fullness of who they are.
