πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to the participants who completed OPEN M's first summer session of the Becoming a Productive Adult (BAPA) Peer Mentoring Program!

Throughout the week, participants built career readiness skills, practiced interviewing, explored financial literacy and connected with mentors who shared valuable guidance for the future.

The final day included a financial empowerment session led by Ace from Chase Bank, who spoke with participants about building credit and establishing a strong financial foundation. Participants also enjoyed lunch made possible through the generosity of Dan and prepared by Kevin, BAPA Program Coordinator, using fresh herbs grown in OPEN M's Community Garden.

BAPA doesn't end when the session concludes. After completing the program, participants can receive job placement assistance and ongoing support as they take the next steps toward employment and independence.

This was the first of three summer sessions, with additional opportunities available:
πŸ“… BAPA Peer Mentoring Program - Second Session July 22–24
πŸ“… BAPA Peer Mentoring Program - Third Session August 12–14

Thank you to our volunteers, mentors and community partners for investing in the next generation and helping young adults build confidence, skills and connections for success. πŸ’œ
