Project Outrun

Years ago, at our first fundraiser, we realized it was super sunny and we didn’t have enough tents. Mia Morris pulled up and before I could blink she was on her way to Dick’s to buy three tents to shade our volunteers and save the day! And Mia has been saving the day for Project Outrun ever since. You can’t imagine how much she has done behind the scenes to keep our project up and running.. She literally converted our entire sneaker ball to a new software platform days before our event so that we could maximize the impact of the night. There is no limit to what she is capable of, and she does everything with such effortless grace. After an insanely long weekend, she showed up this morning at 9 AM with her kiddos to help me pack swag . She is absolutely the best, and to know her is to love her.! We adore you, Mia.! Thank you for always standing by us and always saving the day!

It may be freezing outside here in Akron, Ohio, the home of Project Outrun, but these New Shoe Smiles sure do warm our hearts!
