The Springfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 5:30 pm, at Springfield Township Hall, 2459 Canfield Road, Akron, Ohio, 44312 to hear the following request:

(BZA 11-2026/PERMIT #102554) Ian & Simona McGrath, owners of 2133 Portage Line Road, request a variance to allow a pool to be located in the frontage area on Portage Line Road and Manning Road as defined under Springfield Township Zoning Resolution Section 5.05(A)(2)(g) and where Section 7.01(G)(14) and Table 7.01-A requires pools to be located in a side or rear yard.
