This weekend marks the 91st anniversary of the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous. For over nine decades, individuals struggling with alcohol abuse have found strength, hope, and recovery through the empathy and encouragement of nonjudgmental community.

Alcoholism is an affliction that affects people of all classes, cultures, and beliefs. It is especially prevalent in communities that have experienced unacknowledged trauma, such as the refugee community. We honor the lasting legacy and impact of Alcoholics Anonymous across the world and commit to supporting their mission through alcohol and substance use treatment, education, and outreach.
