“I Got Questions” has wrapped. Wild journey. I am so grateful to everyone who made this possible.
To my team, thanks for making the impossible happen. Shout out to all the partners for the gift of this miracle.
To the audience, thank you for sharing space and opening your hearts to this character’s spirit.
To my people, thank you for being a refuge of writing and processing. Thank you to my family who showed up so many times and from so far away!
Thank you! Truly. I don’t perform often anymore because it’s hard and I forget its importance sometimes. I don’t know why my little grumpy spirit was given this beautiful piece to share, but I am so grateful. It feels both timely and timeless. I am forever in awe at how art helps carry me through this life. It’s my own little corner of healing and dissent, no matter how difficult it can be to create.
I hope the work touched you as well.
It will be back. Until then. ✌🏾
Happy Fall 🍂

Whoa this journey has tested me. Thank you to the sacred practice of theatre for always being the guidance I need. Thank you to everyone who joins me every time I want to create a new work in a space where people don’t normally perform. Thank you to every artist who continues to create even if you sometimes lose your way. Thank you funders. Thank you partners. Your support is incredible.
Alright, Audience, you’re up.

Here I am again…asking questions [and performing].
This is the beginning of the end: The Dialogue, my last installment for the Reflection Series (If you’ve seen HOME and/or FREIGHT, you have seen part of the trilogy)!
Over the last few years, I’ve been in reflection about what we have learned. What have we learned about ourselves? This time? This land? About technology and how it has changed us?
The Dialogue is my last piece for this trilogy and it’s a solo piece that I am still developing in order to have a final outdoor performance in September. However, this Saturday at 7:30 you can COME SEE IT BE DEVELOPED alongside work (last slide is the flyer). You can get tickets at the link in my bio.
I love process and love having you be part of it. I hope to see you there….there will be strong language…cuz my language be strong, so clutch ya pearls and come through 😂.
Reflection Series made possible by ’s ArtsForward grant.
