Have you ever felt trapped by your thoughts? Self doubt, imposter syndrome, imperfect, not enough? I feel you. We can sometimes feel imprisoned by toxic thoughts and daily reminders of deeper fears.

Your mistakes don’t define you, sometimes they are the things that lead to greater blessings. You aren’t failing, you are simply learning wisdom for your future self. Asking for help is not weak, it’s wise and often leads to self preservation (there are people in your life that want to help). You will get knocked down, but nothing is stopping you from trying again. Pick yourself up, dust off and move forward.

It’s all true! Replace the negative with thoughts that are so true about YOU. I believe we are capable of so much if we only trust ourselves a bit more. Stepping out of our comfort zone is scary but you can. This isn’t just feel good, inspirational, cheesy cheerleader hoopla. You were made to thrive. You are the only one that can push yourself to more, believe in yourself and continue to work for what you want!

In life, all good things come hard, but wisdom is the hardest to come by. Lucille Ball

2 Tim 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Empathy is not the same as sympathy. Sympathy is when we feel bad for a person. Empathy starts with listening, really hearing what others feel. When we offer empathy to someone we quite literally feel for them. We speak in such a way as to validate their emotions, conveying compassion with our words.

Empathy is actively listening. We can help others with loneliness, fear, and shame, having concern for their wellbeing both mentally and physically. We can bless someone with our words of compassion, sharing in their emotions and helping them heal.

Can you think of a person in your life that you can truly share you’re raw, honest feelings with? What a blessing! I imagine there is someone in your world that needs your listening, caring heart. Your best is enough.

You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know when it will be too late. Ralph Waldo Emerson
