Afton Golf Club

We are incredibly grateful to have hosted the 20th Annual Lew Ford Memorial Golf Outing at Afton Golf Course. It was an honor to welcome 112 educators, partners, friends, and a record 28 foursomes for such a meaningful day.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, donated raffle prizes, volunteered, and helped make the day such a success. Together, you raised more than $8,300 to support the Backpack Program and Skills USA, continuing Lew Ford’s incredible legacy of supporting students and bringing people together.

We appreciate being a small part of such a wonderful tradition and look forward to welcoming everyone back next year! ⛳💙

On Monday, June 29th, 112 educators, partners, and friends gathered at the Afton Golf Course for the 20th year of the Lew Ford Memorial Golf Outing, A record 28 foursomes hit the links, enjoying a morning of golf and cameraderie. Lew Ford served DCMO BOCES as the Assistant Health & Safety Coordinator from 1998 until his untimely death in 2016. Lew had a passion for student safety and for golf. He envisioned an opportunity for educators to come together after the end of the school year, to celebrate and to raise funds for students. This year’s event raised over $8,300, with the proceeds being shared between two programs supporting students at DCMO: the Backpack Program and Skills USA.
