Training together saves lives. Last night our members trained alongside Reeds Volunteer Fire Department and Davie County Rescue Squad— touring apparatus, comparing equipment, and running a full vehicle extrication evolution (windshield removal, doors, and roof removal). Working side-by-side let crews share techniques, certifications, and real-world tips that improve response on our shared stretch of Highway 64 and the Yadkin River. Huge thanks to Reeds FD for bringing their rescue apparatus across the river and to Davie County Rescue for sharing your knowledge, guidance, and letting us use your equipment. Opportunities like this strengthen partnerships and help ensure we’re ready when seconds count. 🚒💪
