Come see Addison’s latest public art addition in the Beltway Drive park off Midway Road – the beautiful blue mosaic butterfly by Dallas based artist Julie Richey!

David and Linda Hickman were in Addison to visit with us and see the Aikido sculpture at the Galaxy FBO. David is well known for his wonderful kinetic artworks. In addition to Aikido, he created the beautiful butterflies - Aerial Ballet - Monarch - at Vitruvian and the upcoming Team Illusion bicycles for the Cotton Belt Trail. Jamie Munoz of Galaxy was there along with Dr. Jay Ihrig and other members of the Addison Arbor Foundation.

Thanks to everyone that came for the dedication of these two wonderful dynamic duo sculptures in Addison Circle Park. Tango Fantasia by Art Fairchild represents two tango figures dancing and Aikido by David B. Hickman represents two martial arts figures.
