Hi softball community! I’m Coach Hampton, currently the pitching coach at Kennesaw Stae University and going into my 5th season.

Crystal Hampton Train with a current Division 1 pitching coach. I’ve guided athletes at the highest level. Now, I bring that expertise to local pitchers through small-group training that offers personalized instruction, proven techniques, and mentorship.
This is a great visualization of “tunneling”
2 pitches at 2 different speeds. Notice the second pitch showing up later in the tunnel than the first pitch. This tells us there’s a speed difference between the two pitches.
This athlete’s pitch arsenal is composed of top spin and side spin. She throws both spin directions at 2 different speeds in order to create some crafty timing havoc.
