If you are a business owner, you may have received messages regarding the new Beneficial Ownership Information reporting (BOI) through https://www.fincen.gov/boi. This is a new requirement in 2024 for almost all registered businesses. You are required to file online by January 1, 2025, or you may face penalties up to $500 per day, up to $10,000!
