Generations

We weren’t made to simply receive the comfort of God in our own troubles. God gives comfort to us so that we can introduce it into the lives of others when they are in need of it. Happy Wednesday everyone! Champs peeps, see y’all at (Wylie Swim Club) tonight at 6:30!

How do we learn God’s ways? We always hear in church that “God’s ways are higher than our ways,” but how do we tell the difference between His ways and ours?? Do we do what the world says and “just Google it!”?? Not quite. If you ask the world a question, you get the world’s answer. But if Psalm 25:9 is to be believed (and it is), God will guide us and teach us His ways if we are humble - in other words, if we let go of our pride and any thought that we could accomplish anything without Him. Listen, when Jesus ascended back to the Father, God sent the Holy Spirit down to teach us His ways; and if we will humble ourselves and listen to that still, small voice, He will show us our part in His plan. But be careful, our pride can be a loud gong in our ears which, if it’s not dealt with, will keep us from hearing what He wants to teach us.

Live a life of love…

This isn’t saying God is going to stomp like an ant if you do something wrong. The foundation of all the wisdom you need in this life is found in knowing the only One knows everything and can do anything, and yet still wants to be close to us. He knows our every thought and fault, and He still offers His Son to pay the price for eternal souls.

Listen up guys, God can’t exalt you if you’re too busy exalting yourself. Trust that He can do a way better job of lifting you up than you can.

Wednesday Night Fellowships are back on! TONIGHT!Come join us from 6 (or whenever you can get there) to 8 pm at Champions for some great fellowship around the Word of God. The only thing that could make it better is you being there!

Hey Champions, Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we need to again pause Wednesday Night activities. REMINDER! Men of Champions breakfast will continue as scheduled this Saturday at 7:30 am; also, Sunday morning services are unchanged and continue as normal Sunday at 10 am!
