• If a post asks for too much info, skip it

🚨 SCAM ALERT: Fake USPS Texts Going Around

If you get a text saying you need to “update your address” or “verify delivery info,” do NOT click the link. This is a smishing scam designed to steal your personal or banking information.

Here’s what to watch for:
• Unexpected delivery or address‑verification texts
• Links that look suspicious or unofficial
• Urgent language like “respond now” or “package will be returned”

USPS will NEVER text you asking for personal info or payment through a link.

Stay safe — delete the message and don’t click anything.
If you’re unsure, check your tracking directly at USPS.com, not through a text.
