Every few weeks, our big rescue bus pulls out of Abilene, Texas, packed with 50 dogs and cats whose lives are about to change forever. Each trip means hope, freedom from overcrowded shelters, and wagging tails from animals who finally get a chance to live and be loved. But right now, our wheels have stopped turning. Our rescue transport, the heart of Twilight Bark Rescue, needs urgent repairs. Without it, we can’t make our lifesaving trips to the Northeast. We can’t deliver the puppies who beat the odds, the seniors who need one more soft bed, or the scared strays who finally learned to trust again.
