It’s our first 🍑Peach Week @ Poplar Place! These beauties just got delivered and Brooke will be making a delicious peach purée that will be used in our cocktail, the “Sweet n’ Hot Peach Blossom”

We’re not skimping on the good stuff. This play on a tequila sour is made with T E Q U I L A O C H O, peach purée, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon, egg white, firewater bitters and served on a big ice cube. Just a like a peach, it’ll have you feeling warm and fuzzy!

And then on Thursday our friends next door at CassyTully are hosting “A Sip of Summer” Art Social 🌷🎨. Cassy, artist-in-residence Pat McBride Art and her new student Linda will be showing off new artwork, along with music by The Shoppe Girls and a raffle benefitting UnitedHomefront. We’ll be opening the bar at 3 o’clock tomorrow (Wed.) for the ⚽️ Argentina vs. England match. Game will be on the TVs out back with sound on, come join us! Drink specials from open ‘til close.

As usual, we’re a little late to the party but we wanted to wish a very happy birthday to our man, Andre “Andy” de Souza 🇺🇸🇧🇷🏴‍☠️ ! If you’ve ever sat at the bar then chances are he’s pointed you toward your new favorite cocktail, mixed up something delicious, and made you feel right at home. Andy has been a huge part of the family at both Poplar Place and The Workshop Tavern for the past few years and we’re lucky to have him behind the bar. Stop by this week, grab a drink, and show this guy some birthday love. 🍻
