Summerfield LLC

It was a quick, but productive show at Sandhills Triangle Horse Show at the Carolina Horse Park for Summerfield. It was a nice venue to bring some babies that have never shown, and some just got to hang at the show and be sponges, while a few others were showing. We can't thank our grooms,, staff, clients and mostly, the horses, for all they do!

In the Professional Division:

ADORABLE Z: CHAMPION USHJA 2ft9
"Z" is owned by Mrs. Bridget Allen and was piloted by Tommy Serio, for a clean sweep of the division!

SUNDAY BEST: CHAMPION BABY GREEN
"Sonny" was champion at his very first show! He is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Tommy Serio, and piloted by Tommy Serio over jumps, and Kathy Serio in the under saddle!

CHAMBOURCIN: RESERVE CHAMPION BABY GREEN
"Chet" is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Mark and SHaron WInnie, and ridden by Tommy Serio.

CASADOBLE:
1st, 3rd, 4th, 4th and 4th in the combined Performance 3ft/3ft6 Hunter Division. . "Clayton" is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Mark and Sharon Winnie and was ridden by Tommy Serio

A few babies simply got to learn the horse show "thang" and were wonderful at the relaxed facility of the Carolina Horse Park- way to go Gally and Bosun!

Again, many thanks for everyone's help at the show, at the home farms too, since none of this is possible without each of you!

Time for the Weekly Wrap Up for Summerfield's first post- WEF show, at Tryon Spring 1...

Tryon is always a good time, and this week did not disappoint and we all know horse showing is hard- it's a marathon, not a sprint...

In the Professional Divisions:
CASADOBLE:
CHAMPION
High Performance Hunters. He is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Sharon Winnie, and ridden by Tommy Serio.

QUEENSLAND:
CHAMPION
Green 3ft Hunters and 2nd in the Green 3ft/3ft3 Incentive Class. He is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Serio and ridden by Tommy Serio.

KANNSTAKKO:
CHAMPION
Foothills 2ft9 Hunters. He is owned by Mrs. Heather Bak, and ridden by Tommy Serio.

CHAMBOURCIN:
First time contesting the Baby Green Division, he ended up 1st. 3rd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. He is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Sharon Winnie and ridden by Tommy Serio.

In the Amateur Divisions:
KANNSTAKKO:
CHAMPION
Low Adult Hunters. He is ridden and is owned by Mrs. Heather Bak.

MOODY BLUES:
RESERVE CHAMPION: Amateur Owner 3ft6 Hunter Division and won the AO 3ft3/3ft6 Classic. He is owned and was ridden by Mrs. Kathy Serio.

DICAPRIO:
He was 2nd, 6th and 7th, in the Low Adult Hunters. He isnkwmed by Ms. Paige Wilson and ridden by Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson for the first time at this height!

We also had a few non showing horses, learning the ropes in the beautiful backdrop of Tryon.
