Kamp Key Point Week 2 Recap

Another incredible week is in the books at Kamp Key Point!

Our campers continued embracing this year's theme, "Grow Through What You Go Through," through new experiences, friendships, creativity, and plenty of summer fun.

This week included:

Tie-Dye Day, where campers created colorful keepsakes and proudly showed off their Kamp Key Point shirts sponsored by APGFCU

Game Day filled with laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition

Main Event, featuring bowling, laser tag, arcade games, pizza, and memories our campers won't soon forget

Pool Days at Aberdeen Pool and Conowingo Pool, complete with sunshine, swimming, and one of our favorite Kamp Key Point traditions, the cookout!

Behind every smile, every activity, and every new memory is a community that believes in our youth.

At Key Point Health Services' Glen Burnie Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP), community integration is an important part of the recovery journey.

Recently, clients participated in the Fort Smallwood Park Shoreline Cleanup volunteer day, working alongside community members to help preserve and protect a local treasure. Through opportunities like this, clients gain more than volunteer experience. They build confidence, strengthen social connections, develop a greater sense of purpose, and see firsthand the positive impact they can have on their community.

Community service activities help transform recovery into action by creating meaningful opportunities to contribute, connect, and grow.

We are incredibly proud of our Glen Burnie PRP clients for demonstrating that giving back benefits both the community and the individuals who serve it.
