I am deeply honoured to have been elected as the Chairperson of the and Working Group under the for a two year term.

This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the of Uganda’s supporting , access, and for all.

As Chair, I will be working closely with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, the Association of Microfinance Institutions of Uganda ( ), and a wide range of stakeholders across the public, private, and civil society sectors.

Together, we will champion:

Inclusive and secure digital financial services, Scalable tools for savings, lending, and payments, Capacity building through knowledge sharing and , Stronger linkages between , , , and among others.

With focus on , we shall strive to contribute to the enhancement of the use of in delivering , secure, and , While providing strategic guidance on digitization within the sector.

I sincerely thank the members for trusting me with this responsibility, and I commend all the professionals who have chosen to step forward, committing their time and expertise to strengthen our sector.

Is the work ahead simple and easy, NO, is it all very clear from the start , NO, is it important for our Ecosystem YES...

Following last week’s keynote address to the new leadership team at the Co-operative Education Office of Victoria University Kampala, Uganda University, I’m honored to have been invited back—this time to facilitate a student workshop under the theme: “Start Where You Are: From Passion to Pay Cheque.”

As part of the university’s Readiness and Workshop Series, I’ll be engaging with students on how to align their passion with practical steps toward building sustainable careers and .
