After a 1 month accelerated training in Hair Dressing 100% funded by LWF-UNFPA, 32 women survivors of SGBVs and 35 Teenage Mothers received today 31st/03/2022 their Certificates from SONGA MBELE GROUP's Life Skills Training Center and Start-kits from LWF.
The function took place at JURU Community Shade/Nsamizi-Field Office in Presence of some Organizations operating from JURU Sub-Camp include: OPM, Red-Cross, TPO, Alight, MTI, RWC3, etc...
Some good and interesting stories from the beneficiaries were presented and everyone was very very happy.
SONGA-MBELE GROUP is here to say thank you alot for the support you all contributed for the success of this douable Project LWF brought in JURU Sub-Camp.

These are some Victims of SGBV(Sexual and Gender Based Violence) and Young/Teenage Mothers being trained at SONGA-MBELE GROUP's Life Skills Training Center on an Accelerated HAIR DRESSING Training to make them self reliant and reduce on the chance of practicing s*xual business which they are exposed to for survival.

With a happy heart SMG wishes to extend our appreciation to the OPM/Juru, UNHCR/Nakivale, NSAMIZI/Nakivale, M.T.I/Juru, DRDIP/Juru, LWF/Isingiro, COVOID//Nakivale, Chman RWC3/Juru and all other Community Leaders who actively participated in the Sentization SMG conducted at Juru Sub-Offices on the importance of tree planting and fruit consumption for children and lateting mothers in last November 2021 before we distributed fruit seedlings for free to all community leaders of Juru Sub-Camp/Nakivale Refugee Settlement.

With support from OXFAM OPM, SMG trained 45 Refugees from different villages of Rubondo on Liquid Soap Making and Interprenourship skills in 2020 to increase on the accessibility of liquid soap in the refugee settings as one of ways of promoting Personal Hygiene at home level and fight COVID-19 in the Refugee Settlement.
And per now these 45 people were divided into 3 strong group which are currently very active in the productivity of liquid soap in Rubondo Sub-Camp/NAKIVALE Refugee Settlement.
