Let’s humble ourselves and pray
Evening Bible Verse
Exodus 10:1-2
The Eighth Plague: Locusts
[1] Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh, for I have hardened his heart and the heart of his servants, that I may show these signs of mine among them, [2] and that you may tell in the hearing of your son and of your grandson how I have dealt harshly with the Egyptians and what signs I have done among them, that you may know that I am the LORD.”
Evening prayer
Dear Loving and Most Merciful and Heavenly Father, We come before You this evening with humble hearts, acknowledging that You are the Lord of all power and authority. As You spoke to Moses and revealed Your mighty works in Egypt, we recognize that Your hand is still strong today.
Lord, You said these things were done so that Your name would be declared and remembered from generation to generation. Tonight, we ask that Your works be evident in our lives, in our homes, and in our nation. Let our testimonies reflect Your greatness, so that our children and those around us may know that You are the Lord.
Father, where there is hardness of heart within us, soften us. Remove every spirit of pride, resistance, and disobedience. Teach us to walk in humility and obedience to Your Word.
Just as You displayed Your signs and wonders, we ask You to move in our situations. Fight our battles, deliver us from every bo***ge, and make Your power known in every area of our lives.
As we rest tonight, cover us with Your peace. Protect our families, renew our strength, and prepare us to walk in Your purpose tomorrow.
We declare that You are God, and beside You there is no other. May our lives always testify of Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.

Evening Bible Verse
Habakkuk 2:2-4
The Righteous Shall Live by His Faith
[2] And the LORD answered me:
“Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
[3] For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.
[4] “Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him,
but the righteous shall live by his faith.
Evening Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
As this day comes to an end, I come before You with a quiet heart, holding onto Your promise in Your Word. You have said that the vision awaits its appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it may linger, You have told us to wait for it, for it will surely come and will not delay.
Lord, in moments of waiting and uncertainty, strengthen my faith. Help me not to grow weary or discouraged when answers seem slow. Teach me to trust in Your perfect timing, knowing that every promise You have spoken will be fulfilled.
Your Word reminds me that the righteous shall live by faith. Tonight, I choose faith over fear, trust over doubt, and hope over anxiety. Guard my heart from pride and impatience, and fill me with humility and steadfastness.
As I rest, renew my strength and align my spirit with Your will. Let my life be anchored in faith, walking uprightly before You. Even in silence, help me to hear Your voice and find peace in Your presence.
Thank You, Lord, because Your plans are sure and Your timing is perfect.
In Jesus mighty name,
Amen.
