On Saturday 20th May 2023, our junior female squad, the She Wolves made a trip to Kyadondo Rugby Club for the a friendly tournament that was held to raise awareness in the fight against gender based violence.

Coach Hamisi Katumba's charges kicked off the day in high gear running riot against the host's Thunderbirds U20; 26: 00 to set the tempo for the day.

Upnext was a tough encounter against the Nile Leopards that saw the girls fall short by two points and the Leopards ran off with a 7:5 victory. Nonetheless, this was enough to qualify for the semifinals.

The girls kicked off the business end of the afternoon with a nail-biting semi-final against the Kisubi Lady pacers that they won with a converted try to set up a final date against Kitgum Queens.

The date with the Kitgum Queens was a do or die affair and the girls rose to the occasion seeing off the Queens 7:0 in another nail-biting match to win the U-20 category.
