Eastern Mediterranean University in North Cyprus is offering a new program "Actuarial Science" for all prospective undergraduate students.

The new Actuarial Science undergraduate program applies mathematical and statistical methods with financial concepts to risk assess in a number of industries, but particularly Insurance and Finance. This joint program delivered by the Mathematics and Banking and Finance departments is a four year program in the English Language.

Any prospective university student should seriously consider this program if mathematics is a strong point of theirs, as Actuarial science as a career has proven to be a fruitful one. According to the Bureau of Labour and Statistics, a career in this field has a median upwards of $95,000, and is an occupation area projected to grow by 22% from 2016 to 2026.
