The Connect & Create – Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture calls for projects are back!

Are you an artist, producer, programmer, festival, company, professional network or cultural institution based in Sub-Saharan Africa or Europe? These opportunities are for you:

Professional Mobility: to support international organizations and events hosting performing arts and music professional delegations;
Circulation of Performing Arts and Music : to support tours or the programming of African creations within major international events;

✅ Applications for both calls are open from 9 July 2026 to 30 September 2026 included.

This programme is funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France, in partnership with Institut français.

Starting today, artists and cultural actors at risk can apply for funding together with a cultural organisation in Germany, thereby enabling them to carry out a project during a temporary safe stay in Germany.

The MRI supports those who stand for artistic freedom, democracy and human rights and against all forms of discrimination. It is a joint programme by the and Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office.
