Who just passed our camera?
When the forest sleeps, its residents are still on the move.
This time, our cameras captured a troop of chimpanzees making their way through the forest under the cover of night, including a mother carrying her little one safely on her back.
A beautiful reminder that every walk through the forest tells a story worth protecting.

We are proud to share that Pauline Nantongo Kalunda, Executive Director of Uganda, represented East African expertise on the global stage at London Climate Action Week 2026.
Speaking alongside experts from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Pauline highlighted the importance of community-led conservation, biodiversity credits, and high-integrity nature markets, drawing on 's experience in linking conservation with sustainable livelihoods through initiatives such as Trees for Global Benefits.
Her contribution reinforced a powerful message: lasting climate and nature solutions must be rooted in local communities and driven by inclusive, equitable approaches.

Who just passed our camera?
One mother chimpanzee seemed perfectly content relaxing in front of our camera.
Her little one, however, had other plans.
Swinging from a branch, playing and exploring, the youngster turned the forest into its very own playground while mum kept a watchful eye nearby.
Some things are universal, whether in the forest or at home, children will always find a way to keep themselves entertained.
Who just passed our camera?
A troupe of chimpanzees wandered past our camera trap, but one youngster had other plans.
After walking for a bit, it stopped, looked towards the camera, and decided it was time for a ride, climbing onto its mother's back and letting her do the work. 😄💚
Moments like these remind us that whether in the forest or at home, some things are universal.
