WHY SOME LAZY UGANDANS SHOULD STOP PICKING ON DR.BESIGYE.

In the year 1980 after the general elections,war broke out on the basis that the elections where rigged by the UPC government basing on this fact established not by the DP whose victory was robbed but by members of the then UPM who had won only one parliamentary seat of hon.Crispus kiyonga,never the less this was never challenged in the courts of law neither was this stand a court declaration but the claim was legitimate and received collective response and support,in 1986 against a back ground of constitutional instability, the struggle for better leadership was a success and so we moved with the movement system with a promise of a fundamental change.

Along the way came changes and after three decades still the same history is unfolding yet again in our own eyes.

The November 27th events in the parliament of Uganda and the lifting of the term limits in 2005 are no different than the then Obote pigeon hall constitution, the assault on the kingdom of Buganda,the reign of outlaws,the increasing wave of criminality and corruption are as valid today as was in the 70s and 80s.

What happened on the 19th of December was a national shame one whose consequences both in the short and long run every Ugandan will shoulder because where there is conflict,there is no social order and one cannot cast blame without providing better alternatives, so the underlying causes will persist until they are addressed not by picking on individuals but collectively as a society irrespective of the frontiers.

To change the course of a country takes not only one individual so restricting the debate of national concerns along party lines,religion, tribes or personalities or even groups is simply idle talk.

Power

The rate of energy to output,to hold advantage over another and irrespective of the conditions at hand,to possess, control,protect and dominate is the powersequence,parents,friends,family,,bosses,teachers and mostly lovers all have power over us but regulate it according to how much is appropriate.

Power changes us in the first stages using only few of the steps in the power sequence and later seek to use all of them,the more we get is the more we take,in order to take more and more pushes us to the darkest corners to a place so far many don't ever get to return,where all principles of logic and common sense become irrelevant.

Power and its most regrettable trait acts in dispossessing ordinary people and to their decrement all at the expense of those who wild it,the media mostly concentrates in towns,power seeks to stay close or control the media and to survive becomes the ultimate goal,it further changes us into monsters,it breeds hatred,conflict,it enslaves us and becomes a force of its own that constantly must be protected with brute force,we then consequently seek to become masters over other people's actions through the interplay of benefits,ambition ,greed achieved through means of threats and coercion.

To establish safety measures helps us remain with in the proper exercise of our reason in order not to cause our end,maneuvers only just look clever and can only win simple minds.
