New UN figures highlight a growing crisis: 40% of the world’s land is degraded, and droughts have risen by 29% since 2000. This escalating threat puts agriculture, water security, and the livelihoods of 1.8 billion people at risk, especially in vulnerable regions. We cannot afford to wait. it’s time to act boldly to restore our land, combat climate change, and build a sustainable future for generations to come.
Through climate education, we are shaping the next generation of climate warriors. Armed with knowledge and skills, youth are driving innovative solutions and paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
Flooding in Uganda is reaching alarming levels as heavy rains cause rivers to burst their banks, submerging homes, roads, and crops. This crisis, worsened by climate change, is displacing communities and devastating livelihoods. Immediate and bold action is needed to tackle the root causes, strengthen resilience, and protect vulnerable communities from the growing threat of floods. The time for urgent climate action is now before more lives are lost.
