WITU - Women In Technology Uganda

This week, we kicked off interaction sessions for Cohort 5 of our Digital Skilling Program at Women In Technology Uganda.

Across our Kampala and Mbarara hubs, young women who applied to the program are attending one-on-one sessions as part of the selection and onboarding process.

Participants are joining sessions for the following learning courses:

- Digital Marketing
- Graphics Design
- Web Development
- Basic Computer skills
- Data Analytics

These interaction sessions are a core part of how we build a program that works.

They allow us to:

1. Understand each participant’s goals, availability, and readiness.
2. Identify their interests, strengths, and career direction.
3. Guide them toward the right learning pathway based on their aspirations.
4. Set clear expectations before training begins.

This process ensures that participants are not just enrolled, but placed in environments where they can succeed.

At Women In Technology Uganda, we are intentional about building pathways where young women are prepared, supported, and positioned for real opportunities in the digital economy.
