As we celebrate women's empowerment, we're working to break the silence around teenage pregnancies and ensure that girls and young women have the knowledge, support, and resources they need to thrive! One would wonder why is teenage pregnancy such a big deal? The world is giving our young people lots of exposure yet inadequate safe spaces to talk about their reproductive health and rights. Celebrating International Day of Women's Health Day with a street activation in Kisasi Market was a fantastic way to connect with women and address their pressing health concerns. By providing a platform for women to share their challenges and experiences, we are breaking down barriers and stigma surrounding s*xual and reproductive health.

Our Humura SRHR Helpline is a vital resource, offering confidential and non-judgmental support on crucial issues like family planning, STI prevention, and gender-based violence and all SRHR issues. We confirmed with our community engagement that its is essential to continue advocating for women's health rights and working towards a more inclusive and accessible healthcare system in Uganda.
