Arocha Uganda is part of .international, a christian organisation working to conserve & restore threatened habitats & around the globe.
In Uganda, we're particularly promoting sustainable land management, conservation, and water & sanitation.

Our project to conserve the West Bugwe Forest in Eastern Uganda is a joint venture funded by & .
At ARU, we carry out biodiversity data mobilisation to support efforts by providing accurate and up to date information on key conservation zones.

This aids the development of highly specific & targeted interventions.
We do this by carrying out research into what threats particular ecosystems face & what the best solutions to these challenges are, compiling this & then making it easily accessible.

Through our work, we are creating awareness about the biodiversity in forest by publishing data on the portal which can be freely accessed at the link below.

The butterfly, Euphaedra rex is the second nationally endangered butterfly species found in the West Bugwe Forest - Uganda.
These species are particular about their environment and can be found in areas with thriving ecosystems.
