Through our work with households, we're witnessing the activation of adolescent girls and young women who are building collectives and safe spaces where they can learn
about and assert their rights, educate and support their peers, and engage their communities.

In Uganda, 34% of girls are married before the age of 18 years, which is the minimum legal age of marriage in the country.

Child marriage is driven by factors including poverty and lack of access to education and other opportunities for girls.

Through our work we have committed to prioritizing access to girls education,
ensuring the active participation of girls in decision making processes which directly or indirectly affect their lives as well as promoting & respecting the positive role of the family.
