UPDATE ON PLE 2025 RESULTS – CHEERFUL ALMS FOUNDATION (CAF)
“Support One Child Sit PLE 2025” Initiative

In 2025, by God’s grace, we successfully supported 724 learners to sit their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) with dignity and confidence under the Support One Child Sit PLE 2025 Initiative. This surpassed our initial target of 500 learners.

Following the official release of results by the Ministry of Education, we are pleased to share a summary of performance

Out of the 724 learners supported:
📌📌86 learners attained First Grade (11.9%).
🥰😊🌹💃 Notably, 3 of these learners achieved an outstanding aggregate of 7

📌📌414 learners attained Second Grade (57.2%)

📌📌219 learners attained Third and Fourth Grades (30.2%)

📌📌05 learners (0.7%) missed the examinations

Of the 05 who missed:

📍📍03 learners were affected by severe household and socio-economic disruptions during the examination period, which hindered their ability to sit all papers despite prior preparation.

📍📍02 girls are suspected to have been married off, a matter serious enough that the school involved the police in follow-up.

💪🌹These results are a strong indication that when timely support, close follow-up, and collective commitment come together, learners can excel regardless of their background.

✍️ Achieving such outcomes, even with a short-term intervention, demonstrates the power of targeted support at critical moments.
✍️ It also highlights the urgent need to extend this support earlier, so that more learners are not only able to sit exams but also improve their chances of attaining higher grades.

🔮 Looking Ahead to 2026
💪 Building on the experience from 2025, we are confident that 2026 will deliver even greater impact.
💪We are already planning to:
📌 Support an even larger number of learners
📌 Engage schools earlier in the academic year
📌 Provide scholastic materials in advance
📌 Strengthen learner follow-up and safeguarding mechanisms
