Hi Friends! My name is Dorthy and I am the owner of Ayaa Crafts. A little information about me and my business:
My husband and I have been fostering children for the last twenty years. We started working through a fostering ministry that worked with people suffering from HIV-AIDS. We felt as though the Lord was calling me to work with these children. The Lord called us to open my home to these children. For the last twenty years we have raised over fifty children, some of who are grown and independent now. We was part of the original nine families to create the foster care network. As a group we also support widows in order to be independent, but with support. Currently we have twelve children, the youngest whom is six. I started making crafts as soon as I started taking in children to increase my income. Ayaa Crafts translates into Mother's crafts.
My products are sold at the Jinja Farmers Market- Saturday mornings at the Ultimate Base Camp from 8:30-1:30.
Please support my crafts and my care for children!
