While the pathway from mental distress to mental disorder is non-linear, there is evidence demonstrating that targeted interventions during the development of signs/symptoms could significantly alter this progression.

Yesterday, we started a 2-days’ training for teachers to build their capacity to implement an innovative tool with potential to break the pathway to the development of mental disorders among adolescents in schools.

Next term, we shall test the prototype of this tool to assess its feasibility in real-life school settings.

Last week, we conducted financial literacy training among 133 participants in proper record book keeping and attained knowledge in peer to peer support in business management.

The training was led by Commercial officer at His Mercy Church in Buwenda Village
