Today marks exactly 4 years since the abduction and disappearance of comrade Kibalama John Bosco. His case is a reminder of the price that so many brave Ugandans pay for standing up for what they believe in, for daring to challenge the dictator and fight for justice and freedom.

Kibalama left behind a very young family. These innocent children were robbed of their loving father, mentor, and breadwinner. You can imagine the anguish and confusion they continue to experience, waking up each day without the comforting presence of their father.

Their hearts must be burdened with the weight of loss, fear, and uncertainty. Yet it doesn't end there. The sudden loss of financial stability thrust the family into a state of vulnerability and struggle. Basic needs became elusive, education costs became burdensome, and the future remains uncertain. We are doing our best to help them cope with the situation.

In times like these, we must remember, as a nation, that it is our duty to ensure that the rights and well-being of every Ugandan, regardless of their political beliefs, are protected. We must work tirelessly to bring about a society where such tragedies remain things of the past.
