Merciful God, on this day I remember the sacrifice of Your Son. Help me to carry my cross with faith and humility. May I be mindful of those who suffer and offer them comfort through Your love. Amen.

The office of the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council in Yumbe has received bicycles donated by TIKA, a Turkish NGO, to improve transport for imams during evangelisation work.

District Woman MP Avako Melissa Naima Gule said the donation followed a request from Yumbe District Khadi Sheikh Swaib Allahai Aciga.

Imams welcomed the support, noting transport challenges often delay them from reaching mosques on time, especially for Juma prayers.
