A Felesta bus registration number UAS 944E traveling from Kampala to Apac has this evening been involved in a road incident along the Aduku–Apac Road after colliding with a cow that had reportedly strayed onto the highway.

The accident occurred at approximately 7:34PM. The cow died on the spot following the impact. Fortunately, no passengers or crew members sustained any injuries.

However, the bus sustained visible damage as a result of the collision. According to eyewitnesses at the scene, the owner of the cow reportedly fled immediately after the incident and has not yet been identified.

Authorities are expected to assess the situation further. More updates will follow as information becomes available.
